Karen is our Health & Wellbeing Coordinator and leads on the Get Active Referral Scheme and the administration of all our programmes within the community which target the increase of physical activity - underpinned by behaviour change techniques. Karen tells us what fitness and activity means to her:

"To me fitness and activity is about taking part in a fun physical activity. It could be Martial arts or team sports or an exercise class. Trying new sports and having fun with friends and family and enjoying yourself is good for physical and mental wellbeing." 

When Karen is not persuading the nation to be active she enjoys Ju Jitsu, walking her dog, organising events and spending time with her family.
